After graduating from the Koc School’s IB (International Baccalaurate) program, Sedef Gazioglu studied at one of the most prestigious liberal arts universities in the United States; Franklin and Marshall College where she had double majored in Business Administration and Film & Media Studies and minored in Spanish language. During her time in the university, she also participated in the ‘Study Abroad’ program, where she was able to take classes from Saint Louis University’s Madrid Campus. She successfully graduated from the university and was able to gain an international student experience through living in both the USA and Europe. Additionally learning a lot through experiencing various cultures helped her to better develop communication with international people. She also completed a Masters degree in Marketing in Istituto Europeo di Design, Madrid Campus.

She worked professionally in the communication and media sector for several years, wrote several articles for lifestyle magazines, interviewed various globally recognized professionals in three different languages: Turkish, English, and Spanish. She also presented her own television programs including a university program where she was also in charge of the production and editing.

Sedef Gazioğlu completed her second Masters degree in ‘Educational Leadership and Administration’ at the George Washington University. She was the first Turkish student who graduated from the Graduate School of Education and Human Development of the George Washington University’s this specific program.

She also has the college counselling certificate of the University of California Los Angeles as well as the British Council UK Education certificate. Sedef Gazioglu is a certified university counselor who has visited over 170 university campuses around the world in the following countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Hong Kong, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and met with the admissions officers and students from all the universities she visited.

Since she started working as a university guidance counselor, she has been participating in annual international university and education conferences each year. She is an educator who is highly dedicated to her profession and believes that each day is an opportunity to learn and discover new things and develop ourselves.

She is a very experienced university counselor who has highly advanced English and Spanish language skills and has hundreds of students who graduated from universities around the world as well as students who are continuing their higher education internationally.

Sedef Gazioglu established the Overseas Counselling Office of TED Istanbul College and had also worked as the Associate Director of College Counselling at the Koc School, and gained the skills of a university counselor under the school settings. She is very happy to guide students from different curriculums of high schools regarding their international university applications.

Her major goal is not only to guide her students for international universities, work on their applications and counsel them to reach their target universities, but also for the students to gain the necessary skills for success after graduating from high school. She is very proud of all of her students.
